Our Compassion Photo Project
Summer 2020
Term 6 of this very strange time brought us to our last Christian Value of the year, Compassion. Usually, we have a big display in the hall for each of our Values and it’s always a whole-school project, sometimes with families involved too. This time, because we were all ‘doing school’ in lots of different places, we wanted to make sure we could do something together again, to remember that we really were all still one big, connected community. So we launched our whole-school 'Compassion Photo Project' and some very thoughtful and very creative pictures were sent in. Thank you to everybody who was able to take part in this one!
During Lockdown, we all either saw, heard about or were even the recipients of acts of compassion, caring and kindness, so it was a really good time for us to have a good think about what it all meant.
