British Values Day November 2016
On Friday 18th November 2016, we had a whole-school British Values Day. In the morning each class learnt about all five values in general and one of them in particular from:
- Individual liberty
- Rule of law
- Mutual respect
- Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.
In the afternoon, the children worked together in their House Groups to create peg dolls to represent the uniqueness of each person, and show how all of the individuals are a part of the whole community bound by the values that are so important.
At the end of the day, everyone gathered for an assembly to share what each class had discovered and created.
